How to make a living screenwriting

The old system is broken. I know that. You know that.

That’s why I’m creating a new system for filmmakers — for artists. And I will lead by example.

Txt from a student who wants to join my "grand vision of the future"
Got this message today, after explaining my vision for the future of film to him a few weeks ago. Love it.

I will not let you down. I can’t, and I won’t.

The thing is, it’s not as simple as some emendations to Hollywood.

But instead it will be a RADICAL shift towards being an entrepreneur and taking charge of your life. Not blaming others. And having the courage to move forward (with the right strategies to match).

One of my most popular videos is me answering a student’s question on how to make a living as a director / screenwriter.

Then I got an email from another student who said he knows someone who actually makes a living writing scripts — for indies!

WHAT. For indies!? This is what I’m talking about!

So you know me, I had to find out how. I grilled him to find out his strategies:

  • An exact email template YOU can use to pitch your projects
  • How much time did he devote daily to screenwriting in order to make a full-time living (in less than 2 years)
  • How he get his scripts optioned on a regular basis
  • Getting your first paid project

There’s wisdom here for Directors and Producers.

Watch the podcast and adapt the insights to you. It only takes one insight to change your life forever.

I can’t wait to see how far you go in life.
