Don’t ask investors to sign an NDA before your film pitch

You know that in order to get funding / investment, you’ll have to pitch.

You’ll have to MASTER influence over who you’re talking to, and over yourself. This is why I focus on 80% psychology at indiefilmTO.

BUT here’s the problem.

You’ll be tempted to think “I don’t want anyone stealing my idea, so I’m going to get them to sign something saying they won’t take my concept — before I pitch to them.”

Here’s a new video of me explaining why that’s the STUPIDEST thing I’ve heard.

A big part of my vision of the future of film is making sure YOU are successful.

The more successful YOU are, the more this new industry grows. Here’s a testimonial from one of our incubation clients

Nazeer writing about how he cherishes his indiefilmTO incubation
I will cherish you too man.

The old models don’t work. And I’m building a new one, by merging the startup world, with film, and psychology.

I despise faineance so I gotta get back to taking MASSIVE action.

I won’t rest until I show you everything I’ve come up with on combining startup methods with film — and consequently usher in the Silicon Valley of Film, with you.

Later my love,

– Curt
