Eminem changed my life last week

Yo!

Something life changing happened last week, and it started like all life changing things start… with rap music.

The thing is, a lot of these so-called “film gurus” will tell you to “Diversify your multiple income streams! That’s where the BIG bucks are! Obviously!”

And you’re like “Uh, multiple streams? I barely have one income trickle.”

It’s times like these that we ask ourselves:

  • Is it worth it?
  • I’m burnout and I’m sick of being a one-person band. Am I in the right field?
  • Should I just “hang in there”?

Today I have a quick video for you about this, and how the words “Lose Yourself” can get you through any time you feel like a failure.

The truth is, you’re always gonna feel like a failure (at times) and you’re always gonna feel like you’re not making progress (at times).

And you know what? That’s OKAY!

I’m not here to lecture you that you shouldn’t feel that way. You’re a fucking human! Just don’t let that be the only thing you feel.

Recognize that stagnation is the step right before growth. If you’re stuck, keep going. And if something doesn’t work, try something new. If that doesn’t work, try something else new. And if THAT doesn’t work, try something ELSE new. etc.

Constantly be testing and tweaking and don’t listen to anyone that says you won’t make it. Grit is one of the biggest factors that separates those that get what they want, from those that don’t.

Remember, Colonel Sanders was rejected 1009 times before getting his first “yes”…

You have no idea what amazing things you’re gonna do in the next 10 years.

I can’t wait to see it.

  1. This is very inspiring Curt, what makes you believe in your daily life that you’ll eventually “make it” ?

  2. Very inspiring! No matter what the situation is, you will succeed if you really put your heart into it!
